As a Special Edition, Pelikan launches the popular model 800 of the Souverän series with an Italic nib in July 2010.

This fountain pen is packed inside a blue gift box, with a special sleeve around the gift box and a bilingual booklet in English and German. The booklet explains the art of writing including some examples. The nib will be marked as IB (Italic broad) and the broadest line width corresponds to approximately 1.5mm. It will have the famous soft Pelikan quality.

The cap and body is made of the well-known highquality resin, with the famous striped sleeve made of cellulose acetate. The clip and the rings are 24 carat gold-plated, and the nib is made of 18 carat gold with a rhodium trim and an iridium grain.

The proven Souverän 800 classic fountain-pen is available in three colours – black, green-striped and blue-striped.

Unfortunately the fountain pen M800 Italic is not longer available at Pelikan.
